Hi everyone. My name is Robyn Sandy. I have been appointed as the Change Consultant for the UKZN reorganisation project. I am a registered Industrial Psychologist and have operated as a Change Consultant in Africa and abroad for the past 20 years. (Please refer to my attached CV for more information). Change is always a challenging experience, no matter who we are or where we find ourselves. Consequently, the UKZN has decided to create a role for an external consultant to ease some of the discomfort and anxiety associated with change. (Refer to attached document on the role of the change consultant). I will be available to all staff, both academic and support services, to help and support you through this process of change. I will be at the University on Thursdays after the weekly EMC meeting. Whilst change is initially daunting if managed effectively, it can be a very beneficial process. By using the Change Cycle as a roadmap you can navigate your way through the process positively and productively.
