Hi everyone. My name is Robyn Sandy. I have been appointed as the Change Consultant for the UKZN reorganisation project. I am a registered Industrial Psychologist and have operated as a Change Consultant in Africa and abroad for the past 20 years. (Please refer to my attached CV for more information).

Change is always a challenging experience, no matter who we are or where we find ourselves. Consequently, the UKZN has decided to create a role for an external consultant to ease some of the discomfort and anxiety associated with change. (Refer to attached document on the role of the change consultant). I will be available to all staff, both academic and support services, to help and support you through this process of change.

Whilst change is initially daunting if managed effectively, it can be a very beneficial process. By using the Change Cycle as a roadmap you can navigate your way through the process positively and productively.
