Stage 2 - The Stage of Doubt

At this stage, the second stage of the Change Cycle, the millipede will be focused on doubt, doubting the success of the change. The millipede will feel resentful, think very sceptical thoughts and start to resist the change in any way possible.
The primitive part of the brain is still dominant at this stage. This means that the millipede will be in a defensive mode, looking for people and circumstances to blame. To move forward and deal with the challenges of this stage, the millipede will have to seek valid information and work hard to accept this information even if it differs from his own opinion. These wise words apply to Stage 2:

“Ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you mad”
Aldous Huxley
